"All right, you've been paid the going rate for that colored music, now get outta my bar." is the sentiment I'm getting.

Reminds me of something dad was telling me yesterday. There was a local Native American fellow who went down to the states, signed up for a tour in 'Nam, and was lucky enough to make it back alive. He went down to the local Legion Hall for a drink, in uniform as many of the veterans did, and the regulars pointed and sneered and said "Who is that Indian trying to impress?". I doubt they'd have even let him in if he didn't have the uniform to wear. Racism sucks.
