  At first glance I thought you were asking about representing the Disciples. I have modern character re-designs for them somewhere.
  
  I think you're on-target with these. For Inking I'd go with an ink pen rather than brush, to avoid confusion with a paint brush, and for Coloring maybe a house-paint brush to avoid confusion with an ink brush. For Writing, I'd represent it in Courier (maybe a rough typewritery version) for better identification.

  I might change 'brush' for colourist to house-paint style - like the fill brush in Photoshop.

  I'm going to change the pen for Inker to a nib-pen despite it being a Wacom stylus these days...

  Definitely agree with those changes. Fountain Pen = Writer would be too easily confused with Inker.
  
  For Title Designer, maybe a segment of an iconic logo (e.g. 3D-Superman)?
