This is a PAYING gig. But the production time is pretty intense.
They are asking for an artist / writer.

Artist questions:
- Hourly rate and time estimated for the character development, story development and final illustration? - what other information would you need to complete the project?
EMAIL: at smartoft@gmail.com if you are interested.
(note: the email above is *not* the client, but the contact person. You can get the client info from them).
@SteveHorton Can you give any advice on how you use Twitter to find artists / collaborators? I'm still figuring all this stuff out.
Follow and engage with many talented comics pros. Ask them to RT your call for artists. Have a strong plan in place and, ideally, a n interested publisher.
Northwest Press is looking for an artist who can do "superhero realism", for a mini-series. I don't know any more details about the project, but LGBTQ themes would seem very likely. So would a high-quality script, because Northwest doesn't normally pick up something without an artist (and usually completed art) already attached. Send portfolio and page rates to zan@northwestpress.com
Got a guy from France asking me to draw erotic comics -- too busy and his thing isn't my thing, but I thought I'd post it here in case someone's interested. . .http://grosbill.deviantart.com/
In his e-mails, his range is 50-200 -- slightly different from his posted rates.

It took me a minute to figure out that the "naked panda" pin-up he asks for as an audition piece is a human character named "Panda" from Jason Pearson's Body Bags. Apparently the project is an erotic fanfic crossover.
No pay, but fun and fame await for contributors of pin-ups to The Nude 52!, my year-long creative challenge (and self-promotional tool) drawing DC superheroes in the buff. Now officially accepting sign-ups in advance of going live with the first weekly installment, probably next month.
So this is an an anthology, and I wouldn't say no to a writer wanting to in on something with me - http://beyondanthology.com

Hey - so for those who saw my latest posts on my worklog, would have seen that I'm looking to branch out into doing more writing. For those that haven't, well, I'm looking to branch out into doing more writing.
What I'm looking for- script doctors, editors, or just another pair of eyes. Possibly collaborators.
Also what I'm looking for - artists. Not right now, but once I get some stories slapped into shape. By then I'll have a handful of potential Graphic Novels, or an ongoing series or two that would need a few pages for pitching.
"But Tim, you're an artist yourself, why not draw them yourself?"
I think I want to experience that feeling of seeing my words come out of someone else's pen for once? Plus, I have my own long-term drawing thing going on, and while I can also write two or three stories simultaneously, I can't draw them as well.
If anyone is good at lettering and wants to make some extra money please let me know. I'm looking to hire a Letterer to letter several of my comics. The comics have already been lettered (badly) by me, and I want a more professional look, preferably the classic 1960-1970's style. The final product will be digital.
If it goes well this could lead to several more such jobs – I’ve got a bunch of completed comics that need re-lettering.
If interested, please PM me with samples of your lettering work. Or if you know anyone suitable that needs work ...

This isn't Twitter; you can spell things out.
It's a good resource for finding publishers, and it looks like there's a section for artists and cons too.
